History
The van was bought in 1977 to be used as a mobile command centre by the dutch police In 19?? it was sold to the ... security company to be used as a mobile security / surveleance unit for public events such as concerts and sport matches. The security company then changed it's name to Falck ... At some point it ended up at a auction hosted by the dutch state service that sells government (and confiscated) property (Domeinen). A Citroën enthusiast put a bid down and to his suprise he actually got it. Several people tried to buy the van for parts for their campers but it survived and ended up here. |

| Engine and gearboxes. Lots of fun, finding out the differences between citroen/fiat, petrol/diesel, 4/5 speed gearboxes proved interesting. But we got it running in the end with the 5 speed gearbox from a diesel mated to a petrol engine, replaced head gasket in the process (and engine went out 3 times!) | |
